Random free to reuse digital marketing agency image – note: that is not my hand nor my handwriting (which is far worse).
Over the last 2 weeks, this Indianapolis web design firm has had a lot going on. Since officially announcing the full time launch of the company just two Monday’s ago, I have realized that the Web Design portion of the company name is a misnomer. While web design is certainly still a large part of what we do, we are now working on projects including infographic research and creation, SalesForce cleanup, logo design, lead generation and marketing consultation. Increasingly, it seems more appropriate to label the company as a digital marketing agency.
And while I could officially change the name to something else or even do something as simple as a new DBA – I’m simply too lazy. Besides, I like the existing name. By making it harder to explain what the company does to people I meet, it makes me better at giving my elevator pitch and become a better marketer – then again, I’m probably just lazy.
The point of this blog is that I wanted to acknowledge publicly that the name no longer is a good fit for what we do and despite that, refuse to change it. I’m like a much more socially aware (but far less rich) Daniel Snyder.
