This fantastic 60 year old Indianapolis-based company has a new website dedicated to providing an easy way for visitors to get request a quote. While the foundation is built on WooCommerce, CPI didn’t want clients to be able to purchase things directly on the site – yet. When the time comes, they will be able to ‘flip the switch’ and turn their lead generating website into a fully functional eCommerce website.
Besides a completely new and mobile friendly web design, this project involved combining to disparate websites. Each of the old websites were specific to a different line of products and there was very little overlap in traffic, despite both lines of products being useful for CPI’s client base. Since there was a a strong following for each site from current clients, it was important to do proper redirects and make the new website showcase the best of both worlds. The search bar at the very top of the website was intended to allow people to quickly and easily find the products they were interested in across both product lines and throughout the site, we worked to make it easy to see products visitors may not have known CPI sold.
Within just a couple of days of launch, CPI began receiving requests for quotes from existing clients for products that they had never known CPI could provide. The team at CPI was amazing to work with and made the process of integrating the two websites as seamless as possible.
