Hey gang,
Last week I read music titan and Presidential hopeful, Kanye West, had made a speech that some (all) found offensive where he railed against beloved Underground Railroad heroine, Harriet Tubman.
The next morning I woke up in a cold sweat with the thought that though Ye’s never heard of me and may not know much about web design, there’s a very high likelihood that he holds our company in contempt. I did some research and found a list of other things he doesn’t like:
- Butterflies
- Peaceful sunsets
- Whiskers on kittens
- Sprinkles on donuts
- The feeling of grass on his bare feet
- Not being sued (this one is real)
In other news, the Sharp Guys’ team has been spending a lot of time at home lately. Besides learning more about what Yeezy doesn’t like, we’ve also been doing some awesome client website work.
The Work
We took this website live last month and it’s one I simply had to share. We love the color scheme, the layout, and the company itself. While the company’s work is specific to the Houston, Texas area, if you were looking for any design ideas for your office, check out their website.
Team Stuff
My colleague Jeremy and I have been fortunate to play quite a bit of socially distanced tennis this summer (the best, and honestly only way to play tennis). Would anyone be interested in playing some doubles at some point? Reach out and let’s make it happen!
Other Stuff
Know anyone that would benefit from the inane content I write in these newsletters? Forward it on to them and see if they want to subscribe. Missed an older newsletter (I’ve been doing these off and on for years), take a look at the archive.
Looking to read my latest short story? I’ll warn you right now, it is dumb and probably not worth reading. Now with that legal mumbo jumbo out of the way, please read Y Tree, Why?!
As always, thanks for reading!
